NVQ QUALIFICATIONS FOR Heating

We deliver NVQs to ensure competence for heating measures

Heating Qualifications

We provide a range of NVQ Level 2 qualifications to ensure that you can prove your competency for PAS 2030:2019.

The standard requires that the installer demonstrates their own skills and competency through achieving an NVQ Level 2 via a recognised accreditation body.

Relevant NVQs

At Eco Academy we will ensure that you select the relevant NVQ along with any additional training that you may need so there are no stumbling blocks when it comes to the certification body conducting your audit.

WHO IN MY BUSINESS NEEDS IT?

To meet the PAS 2030:2019 standard, at least one installer per team/van needs to have the relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification for the installation measure(s) of your choice.

Once you have registered, this is enough evidence to submit towards the PAS 2030:2019 assessment that you are working towards it.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This qualification is competence-based with candidates having to demonstrate the level of competence described in the units.

These NVQs are not ‘courses’. They are an assessment process, measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost depends on which pathways you require and if there is funding available for your organisation.

You can also spread the cost of the qualification over a period of time that suits you using our flexible payment option.

WHEN CAN I START?

You can start the process as early as today!

To start all you need to do is contact us so we start your application.

All we need from you is your learners personal information, National Insurance Number, formal ID and which pathway(s) that they require.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence over the duration which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Most of the NVQ program is carried out remotely however there may be a necessity for an onsite assessment.

Evidence can include:  Observation report by assessor, assignments/projects/reports, professional discussions, witness testimony, candidate product worksheets, record of oral and written questioning and recognition of prior learning.

Your allocated assessor will work with you to ensure you achieve the qualification within an appropriate timescale.
