A three day course that will provide the foundations and access to Retrofit Co-ordinator

LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATION

WHO IN MY BUSINESS NEEDS IT?

To gain PAS 2030:2019 certification, you will need to demonstrate that you are following the PAS 2035 standard. One of the number of roles within in PAS 2035 is an assessor. A qualified assessor can then move onto be come a qualified Retrofit Coordinator – who can deliver all elements of PAS 2035 (Retrofitting  dwellings for improved energy efficiency).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The duration of the course is three days. The course consists of classroom/live stream learning and an assignment at the end of each day. There is also a practical assessment at the end of the course, with a view to complete an Energy Performance Certificate as part of the course.

There will also be a requirement for 4 additional energy assessments to create a portfolio on a range of domestic properties to complete the course.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost depends which learning option you choose and if there is funding available for your organisation.

You can also spread the cost of the qualification over a period of time that suits you using our flexible payment option.

WHEN CAN I START?

You can start the process as early as today and completion of the course is within 16 weeks.

All we need from you is your learners personal information, National Insurance Number, formal ID and which pathway(s) that they require.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

The course is comprised of four units with an optional unit.

At the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Verify and create Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)
  • Sampling of properties to carry out representative assessments
  • Safely conduct energy efficiency assessments
  • Carry out Energy Inspections within a dwelling

Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence over the duration which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Most of the assessments are carried out remotely however there may be a necessity for an onsite assessment.

Your allocated assessor will work with you to ensure you achieve the qualification within an appropriate timescale.
